Preparing for the unexpected

The last year has shown us the importance of flexibility in business. From adapting to entire workforces working remotely to changes in on site protocol and processes to keep people protected against COVID-19, all industries had to tackle challenges that they were never expecting to face.

The businesses that succeeded in these quickly changing times were those that already embraced flexibility in their systems.

“When COVID-19 hit, we knew that we needed to be agile. The situation was changing every day and workforces in different states were operating under markedly different conditions,” says Fredon Group’s National HSEQ Systems Manager, Simon Jonas.

“With the Lucidity InForm module, we were able to put out medical check forms to our workforce really quickly. And then the new public form function came out soon after which allowed us to integrate these forms with on site QR codes.

“We had our solution up and running in a couple of days. And we’re still yet to see these new processes penetrate in other companies more than a year on from the start of the pandemic.

“This has been a great learning opportunity for us because, chances are, something like this could quite easily pop up again in the future. We’ve been able to look back at how we faced this problem, understand the flexibility we have in the Lucidity system and save the forms and processes changes we made in the system ready for a quick response in the future.”
