How Lucidity dashboards make reporting easy

As we head into December, end of year reporting becomes a key priority for most organisations. But the focus is often in the wrong place. We spend so much time trying to pull data together to present reports back to the C-suite that we run out of time to properly analyse and use the data to make better business decisions for the year ahead.

This was a challenge we had in mind when developing the Dashboards section of your Lucidity software. So, we came up with a platform allowing you to see the data you need and generate your reports straight out of the software. Making the whole process much simpler so that you can focus on actually using the data rather than wasting time trying to find it.

There are a myriad of reports that you can draw on from each of the modules. We’ve selected a couple of dashboards that we think will help you gain key insights into the performance of your business in 2020 and identify some impactful areas for improvement in the new year.


Employee Safety


MTIFR and LTIFR performance

June to December 2020


Safety issues across workplaces can have a significant impact on productivity and employees taking time off after an injury means you have less hands on the ground to complete important business tasks. So how did your organisation perform on Medical Treatment Injury Frequency Rate (MTIFR) and Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR)?

The Lucidity Incident module has dashboards already set up under the Dashboards tab which will plot performance of these two important metrics. Compare this data with a timeline of any safety performance measures that changed throughout the year to see what impact they had in moving MTIFR and LTIFR towards the 2020 goal.

But the above graph alone may not give you the full picture. Injury rates may not be consistent across all projects and divisions. Within the Dashboard tab of the Incident module, you have the opportunity to investigate this data in more detail to try and uncover the root cause of safety incidents.


LTIFR by Department

May to December 2020


Take the graph to the left as an example. Plotting the LTIFRs for each department may identify that there is one team who is experiencing many more safety incidents than the others. This presents the opportunity to work closely with this team to understand what is causing this trend and proactively address it with some department specific safety measures. These graphs report live throughout the year also allowing for the opportunity to continuously track whether these new strategies are working.


Digital forms are used to capture important business data for a wide array of different activities. But have they been filled out as frequently as the business processes dictate? The Dashboards tab in the Lucidity InForm module provides the opportunity to examine the frequency of form completion amongst departments, employees or work sites.

Workshop Checklist Completions July to December 2020


Take this graph as an example. We’ve charted a workshop checklist form over the last six months which was meant to be completed at least once a month by each workshop. Rather than having to spend time compiling forms, we can quickly see some deficiencies and chase up teams that haven’t kept up with the reporting cycles.

Lucidity software is the first step towards creating a strong safety culture in an organisation. Prioritising, consistently capturing HSEQ data simply and then using it to make better business decisions is something that sets organisations up for success. One of the techniques that an organisation might have put in place to champion this proactive safety culture could be managers having conversations about safety with their employees – and each time this is done, the manager completes a form in the Lucidity software system. The Dashboards tab in InForm allows for monitoring of completion of these activities.


Safety Conversation Form Completions by Manager June to December 2020


Take this below graph for example. As the business introduces this new business function, there is the aim of each manager completing four safety conversations each month. The progress against this goal can be plotted in the Lucidity dashboards tab by manager.
