New Lucidity Feature: Submit Permissions

One of the key benefits of an integrated HSEQ software solution is getting greater visibility and access to crucial safety business data. Empowering your managers and executives to make more informed business decisions to keep people safe and help your organization reach its full potential.

But in order for this to work, the organisation needs to have confidence in the data that is being captured.

We’re introducing a new feature to provide more options for controlling who can edit records, and hence reinforcing this data integrity.

Introducing . . . Submit Permissions

An advantage of the Lucidity system is that form records can be updated at any time to ensure users always have access to the latest data.

However, with a range of team members and/or contractors working with InForm, there may be users who you only want to be able to edit records until their task is complete. At which point they submit the form and are simply able to view their responses – rather than continue editing them.

This is what the new ‘Submit Permissions’ setting will allow you to do.

As a permission, this is a feature which is flexible throughout the business and available on both mobile and desktop versions of the software.

You may have certain team members who you want to restrict editing access from once it has been submitted, in which case you can apply the setting to their accounts. However, you may want a Manager to still be able to edit the form after it has been submitted – so you can turn the setting off for these team members.

We will be sharing a video and other information about this new feature in the coming weeks. In the meantime if you have any questions please reach out to support@luciditysoftware.com.au
